You know the ones, where you feel like you could stay in them forever? Where you realize that you’re in one of “those” moments and you’re aware enough to take note and truly appreciate them?
Yeah, those.
I have a friend, Nichole, who has taught me more about relishing those moments more than any single person I’ve met (and only known for about a year!) She is one of the most genuinely grateful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. When she says “It’s great to see you,” she really means it. I would say she wears her heart on her sleeve, except that it’s more like a poncho, the sheer size of it.
Simply put, I adore her, and she inspires me to live my life just a little bit differently.
Nichole shares her world and her gorgeous way with words over at In These Small Moments, and today is her second blogaversary. She said she was kind of tired and wasn’t sure she was going to post today, so I thought I’d post something instead.
Happy Anniversary, Nichole. I’m so thankful to have you in my life.
Heh. The short version. Thing number one, I'm tall. I've been told I should have a warning on my blog, so here it is! I am taller in real life than I appear on the internet.

I love that you posted about her anniversary before she did.
Isn’t she lovely, Robin?
Bingo! I couldn’t have said it better, Liz…Nichole is by far the most caring, genuine, and honest person I am lucky enough to call friend. If you haven’t been to her blog? Go. Now.
It’s too early in the morning to be this misty, Sherri.
Thank you, my sweet friend. xoxo
Lizz…this is such an incredibly thoughtful thing to do!
You are such a lovely friend and I am so grateful to have you in my life. (I feel like we’ve been friends for so much longer than a year.)
I remember seeing that beautiful sparkle in your eye when we met and I knew that we’d be fast friends.
Thank you so very much for this. I don’t even have words for how much this means to me. xoxo
Oh, this is such a sweet thing to do. And so telling of the effect she and her heart have had on you! What a lovely way to celebrate
This was like a little surprise party, Angela!

Thank you, my beautiful friend. xoxo
This was so sweet of you to do, Lizz. Happy Blogoversary to Nichole.
What a nice way to celebrate Nichole! And you are SO right….when she tells you it’s nice to see you or hear your voice, she truly means it.
My sentiments exactly! Love you Nichole!
2 years, really?
Love you, my amazing friend. Yes. Two years. Hard to believe. xoxo
What a lovely anniversary gift – the relationships built in this little bloggy world are so very special!
They are indeed. And next time I see you, Nicole, I’m stealing you away so I can have you all to myself for a bit.
Very sweet. Both you and Nicole are amazing people. What a tribe!
We’re a lucky little group, aren’t we, Kelly!? xo
